The strap width in respect to it's use on our website, always refers to the width of the strap at the end that connects to the watch, the spring bar or LUG end of a watch. We reference this end, as this is critical in selecting the correct width strap for your watch.

The width of the strap you select, should always match up with the distance between the LUG's on your watch case (refer image below). You can usually locate the width of your watch LUG's on the manufacturer's or retailer's website from where you purchased your watch. Alternatively, (and probably quicker) simply measure the distance with a ruler (again refer image below).

Handcrafted out of Valencia, Spain, introducing our range of racing inspired Daytona watch bands. Our Daytona range are the perfect match up for your racing chronograph watch (think Heuer Autavia!), pairing well with a range of watch options. These are arguably our highest quality constructed strap yet, with the leather tanned within the finest tanneries in Spain, servicing global designer brands like Hermes. The leather band is constructed from a high quality top grain leather, including the antisweat lining! Top grain leather is the strongest and most durable part of the hide, and develops a beautiful patina as it ages with care. We've coupled this band with a largish (but not too wide) 316L quality polished stainless steel buckle (smaller than our Italian range)

Exactly What I Was Looking For

I was looking for a new watch strap to replace the one that came with my BOSS Aviator style watch which was a dark brown black leather, rather thin and not comfortable on my wrist. I went for the Espanol Daytona Black and it was exactly what I was looking for. It works better with the body and face of the watch, plus the quality of The Sydney Strap Co leather used in their strap much better than the original. It is well made, thicker leather that is surprisingly much more supple, very happy with my purchase. A subtle improvement over the original is that the spacing for the holes on the Espanol Daytona strap work 'just right' with my wrist size which is another bonus for replacing the original.

Great service and excellent product

I was more than impressed by the finish, fit and quality of the watch band. My watches straps were old and I thought they needed replacing. The new straps from ‘The Sydney Strap Co.’ were very easy to fit on to my watches and the combination now looks as good as new – if not better. I originally made a mistake in the width of one of the watches and I contacted ‘The Sydney Strap Co.’ by email and a person by the name of Christian replied and fixed the problem within minutes. I can’t give 100% for ‘The Sydney Strap Co.’ the strap and the service as I can only give 200% for everything. Thank you very much for a very easy and pleasant transaction.
