The strap width in respect to it's use on our website, always refers to the width of the strap at the end that connects to the watch, the spring bar or LUG end of a watch. We reference this end, as this is critical in selecting the correct width strap for your watch.

The width of the strap you select, should always match up with the distance between the LUG's on your watch case (refer image below). You can usually locate the width of your watch LUG's on the manufacturer's or retailer's website from where you purchased your watch. Alternatively, (and probably quicker) simply measure the distance with a ruler (again refer image below).

Looks nice but dyes wrist

I like the look of this and the chunky hardware. I wish it was 2 pieces rather than 1 as 1 piece gets in the way of smart watch sensors. But most annoyingly this strap left green dye in my wrist from the green strap. And it did constantly. It wasn't for just a week or so. I also didn't wear it in the shower or water for that to make the dye run. So this was disappointing.

Green Leather Zulu. Great straps! I have a bunch of them in various colours and widths (from this store). Some people complain about their thickness but extreme comfort comes at the cost of other things; we cannot have our cake and eat it too. I’ve been using one specific Zulu in brown for almost four years and it has taken on a nice patina and is still very useable. I expect many more years out of it yet. I’ve sweated with it countless times and it holds up. I add Red Wing Boot oil to it roughly annually or longer, only on the outside. Leather must be well looked after for it to last many years.
