The strap width in respect to it's use on our website, always refers to the width of the strap at the end that connects to the watch, the spring bar or LUG end of a watch. We reference this end, as this is critical in selecting the correct width strap for your watch.

The width of the strap you select, should always match up with the distance between the LUG's on your watch case (refer image below). You can usually locate the width of your watch LUG's on the manufacturer's or retailer's website from where you purchased your watch. Alternatively, (and probably quicker) simply measure the distance with a ruler (again refer image below).

Perfect match for Explorer II black dial

Especially impressed with this one. The brushed zulu loops and natural patina have dressed down my Explorer II 226570 black dial, making it feel all the more like a daily tool watch that’s ready for adventure. Noticeably raises the watch off the wrist a fair bit, which may not be to everybody’s taste. Soft and not too thick against the skin, it’s pleasant to wear even in the direct summer sun. Undoubtedly not as ideal for wet conditions as a fabric strap, but has so much more character. My new daily, regardless of what’s on the agenda.
