The strap width in respect to it's use on our website, always refers to the width of the strap at the end that connects to the watch, the spring bar or LUG end of a watch. We reference this end, as this is critical in selecting the correct width strap for your watch.

The width of the strap you select, should always match up with the distance between the LUG's on your watch case (refer image below). You can usually locate the width of your watch LUG's on the manufacturer's or retailer's website from where you purchased your watch. Alternatively, (and probably quicker) simply measure the distance with a ruler (again refer image below).

Just what I wanted and good quality

Good straps and the only improvements I would suggest are: 1) Punch smaller holes for the buckle as they are a bit of overkill; 2) a buckle that is similar to the ones on the Nylon seatbelt NATOs. Other than that I like the straps quite a bit. They age very well, especially the dark brown variant, and take on typical leather “Patina nuances“ of the wearer.

Lux leather black nato - good value

The lux leather black nato from the Sydney strap co arrived quickly and in perfect condition. It is thin enough to be pliable and avoid creasing but thick enough to be durable. It was easy to trim to suit and is a nice working week alternative for diver watches. Highly recommend

Just awesome

So far this strap has been the best leather NATO strap I've used. All my precious ones would get distorted and stretched whereas this one is much thicker but still very pliable. I can see this lasting a good while longer.
